Dental CE Courses Frequently Asked Questions

Upon completion of a course or CE module, your certificate will be available to print or you can download the pdf. The certificate will remain in your profile area and you will be able to return as often as you need to recover a copy of any earned certificate.

A hybrid course harnesses modern technology so you can attend a live course virtually through your computer, following along in your home, or office. You have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions. If you miss a section, you can review the online materials.

DSTAR will submit an attendance class roster to AGD. We will need your AGD ID number to submit for you. You will need to submit any self study online CE courses to AGD.

Currently, We do not offer Nitrous Oxide Courses.

No, DSTAR’s AGD PACE-approved CE courses only count toward renewal of an existing Texas sedation/anesthesia permit and do not meet the TSBDE’s requirements for an initial permit, which mandate completion of a qualifying program with specified didactic hours and supervised clinical sedation cases under the ADA’s Guidelines for Teaching Pain Control and Sedation to Dentists and Dental Students.

CE- GO is a continuing education platform, that provides a location to store content, create courses, house quizzes, collect evaluations, take payment for courses, create certificates, etc. This company has already created the tools to develop and deploy CE courses, so DSTAR utilizes their services to organize and create our CE courses. DSTAR has unique landing pages to their website for our courses. If you ever have a problem on the CE-GO website you can contact CE-GO or contact DSTAR and we will correct it!

In Dental CE credits count only within your current licensure period (usually 2–3 years); any credits earned before that period won’t apply.

After logging into your CE platform, visit your dashboard or “Courses Completed” section to print or save certificates.

Search the ADA’s CE catalog to filter by “ADA CERP” recognition, subject, delivery format, and provider. Like DSTAR Education.
