Biography:

After graduating from Baylor University fifteen years ago, Kristan began her journey in dental practice management working at a large, multi-state Dental Service Organization (DSO). She quickly focused on Operations Management, where she played a pivotal role in expanding services, including pediatric anesthesia treatments.

As hospitals reduced access to operating rooms for pediatric dental practitioners and Office-Based Anesthesia (OBA) gained prevalence, Kristan spearheaded the development of comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for office-based anesthesia. These SOPs covered compliance, billing, collections, emergency management, and patient care.

Kristan’s commitment extended to nationwide learning experiences, emphasizing the value of continuing education for both providers and support staff in a rapidly evolving field. She is dedicated to improving patient care, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting knowledge advancement.
